This was a fun, lighthearted book. One way for me to describe it would be a sort of cross between the Anne of Green Gables books and Peter Pan. It has many of the same themes and ideas as Peter Pan--childhood games, imagination, etc. while the type of story is really similar to the Anne of Green Gables books--a series of related incidents and funny stories that share characters, but aren't really linked by what I call a "plot". The first-person narration was well done and unique.
