Princess Academy by Shannon Hale

There is a reason that this book was a New York Times Bestseller, as well as a Newberry Honor. The story is fun and original and the characters are easy to relate to and sympathize with. Star rating: 10

I am not going to write spoilers or rave about the author. I just want to say that Princess Academy is great for anyone who loves fairy tales or who enjoys a good story. I read this book aloud to two girls ages 8 and 10 and they both loved it! And quite honestly I think that that is just about the right age group for this book.
