Novel length retelling of the story of Beauty and the Beast. Star rating 10, because every time I read this book it instantly becomes my favorite again...
Is falling in love supposed to be difficult? Some fairy tales make it easy to believe that love is instantaneous and the beginning of happily ever after. Not so in this book. Beauty and both of her sisters find love to be trying and difficult but infinitesimally worth it.
Great read, but not recommended if you are not a fantasy/romance type.
