I listened to this book on CD which means that I was able to do dozens of things while listening all day long. I really don't know what I think about this book. I am not even sure how many stars to give this book.
Fantasy, yes. Adventure, yes. Romance, um I think so. If you are a fan of Shannon Hale, try this book out. Myself, I can't make sense of it. I thought that the character developments were confusing, which made it difficult for me to have feelings for the different characters. I enjoyed listening to it, but I can't even read between the lines with this book.
